Strong hospital system with locations thought the country is looking for bring on board a CNO for this 200 bed campus. This CNO will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall Nursing Patient Care Services for areas of the hospital to include all Nursing, Respiratory, Social Services, Case Management, and Pharmacy. Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all patients, along with maintaining performance improvement activities within the department. This CNO will have 8 Direct reports and have a team of 246 FTE’s. Along with promoting the mission, vision and values of the organization this CNO will plan and coordinates with the CFO, utilizing the respective Leadership members for panning the budgeting requirements for personnel, supplies and equipment, along with cost controls to insure maximum effectiveness. CNO will participate in policy decisions that affect Patient Care Services.

Requirements:

  • Licensed RN with a BSN, Masters prepared.  
  • Must have 3 + years in a CNO role from an acute care facility/setting preferably 150+ beds.
  • Ability to multi task and work in a busy fast paced environment with a large team of FTE’s and direct reports.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, managerial ability, good interpersonal relationships, and the application of sound administrative principles. 
  • Comply with all organizational policies and standards requiring ethical business practices.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activates.   
  • Must maintain clinical credentials and competencies to be able to work clinically.
  • Must have the ability to insure that cordial relationships are maintained with patients, their families and friends, clergy and other interested groups in the community.
  • Interprets the goals of the patient care Services areas to the community by maintaining harmonious and effective’s relationships with the education system, volunteer groups, agencies, and the community.
