Textile Service Technician


Our client is a manufacturer of the world’s finest textile machinery

Their machines and accessories include automated weaving preparation systems, shedding solutions for frame and Jacquard weaving, weaving systems for carpet and technical fabrics as well as automated solutions for sock knitting.

  • Provide customers with in-house or on-site repair, troubleshooting.
  • Discuss, diagnose & repair of Textile equipment
  • Document Textile equipment performance and report results for the purpose of troubleshooting, repairing, and restarting the system.
  • Completion of a detailed Field Service report for each customer call and documentation of service interventions in CRM database.
  • Coordinate responsibilities, activities, and schedule with Local Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and proper billing.
  • Communicate frequently with customer to ensure that all expectations are being met.
  • Return of parts issued for the service call but not purchased by the customer, or defective parts replaced under normal service call or warranty.

Job Requirements

Textile Service Technician

 

Requirements:

You have an associates or bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or engineering

3+ years mechanical service experience.

You can read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints and related technical documentation.

Use your technical skills and come to work for an industry leader in the textile industry.
